Motivation
- Consuming blogs is a popular means of professional development for tech professionals, writing is therefore a great tool to engage the community.
- Improve thinking through analysis. Writing--creating a journal entry, a mind map, a sequence diagram--is an invaluable tool when working out logical errors in thought.
Although quality content is the ultimate goal. Focusing efforts on quantitative measures will help foster the habit of writing, which is the beast I must face right now.
Starting small, I aim to engage my immediate network primarily via blog content posted on lcollins.info with links shared on linkedin to help drive traffic.
Ideally my summary will be backed by a few first hand experience points but at the very minimum the goal is to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the concepts

This spring I will work on a URL Abstraction meant to enable a white labelled product to handle deep links correctly and produce shareable links correctly. This will be the project I use to complete this goal.
This is a learning goal. Success means completing and project using the two technologies below and publishing a post on my experience.
I’ve already worked on a project which integrated AI, however, this OKR looks to deepen by knowledge of model training and fine tuning to serve specialized use cases.
The details of this integration is to be determined at a later date, I’ve added the goal here as a reminder to push towards it.
The diagram below outlines the 2026 plan for Afrostories. Consistency without burnout is the philosophy I am applying while undertaking this years roadmap.

Motivation
Adding content to the platform during Black History Month identified a few bottlenecks in the chrome extension to Form editor flow.
Goal
Allow content editors to link clipped articles from the chrome extension ( e.g. a youtube video ) to a Form without leaving the Chrome Extension interface
As it stands, the web client is only used to relay shared links to the mobile apps. Ideally some bandwidth will be given to making it a first class citizen in the ecosystem.
Success means all routes (features) available on Android and iOS will be available on web
